SPRING & SUMMER (April - October)
DAILY: 9:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 4:00 pm.

FALL & WINTER (March - November)
DAILY: 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.

Our San Francisco Segway Tour is two hours long with a 45 minute training session, so allow for a total of 2.5 to 3 hours.

The price is $70.00 per person which includes the training and a helmet.

Riders must be 12 years of age and weigh over 100 pounds, but less than 250 pounds(45-113 Kilos). Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tours are limited to nine riders and reservations are required.

Tour Overview

After a 45 minute training on how to safely operate the Segway, you'll explore the San Francisco waterfront for a full two hours!

All tours start on time, so please arrive 15 minutes early.

Tours meet from the rear parking lot at 757 Beach Street near the corner of Hyde Street. Located across from the Hyde Street Cable Car turn around in Fisherman’s Wharf.

The F-Line Historic Street Cars, MUNI, and Cable Cars lines all transport visitors to the Wharf.

For your convenience a Wells Fargo Bank ATM is at the entrance to our training area.

Tours are conducted in English.

Tour prices do not include Meals, beverages, admission fees, or souvenirs.

Training:

The training consists of operating the Segway through a simulated obstacle course consisting of cones, turns and emergency stops to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

We will practice on the Segway until everyone feels comfortable and ready to tour San Francisco!

Training includes:

  • Hands-on training with a instructor.
  • Video Introduction.
  • Check-out ride and skills review.
  • Education of rider courtesy and rules of the road.

    • Requirements

    Riders must:

  • Be 12 years or older.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
  • Be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail.
  • Weigh between 100 and 250 pounds (45 to 113 kilos).
  • Wear the helmet and safety vest that is provided with the tour.
  • Sign a liability waiver.
  • Complete the Segway rider training and test ride.
  • Respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes, and cars for a safe enjoyable ride.

    • Tour Rerouting and Weather:

    We reserve the right to change the size of the tour to meet requests for that specific day. San Francisco is famous for the fog! Our tours run fog, rain, or shine. We always suggest multiple layers of warm clothing for any San Francisco activity. Summer afternoons can be in the 50's. Rain gear is available for those infrequent rainy days. Segways ® are designed to run in any weather. If seasonal fog or weather obscures the view tour, routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour.

    Cancellation Policy:
    Reservations require a full deposit via Credit Card. Deposits are fully refundable if the reservation is canceled 3 days -72 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour.

    No Shows are charged in full. We have a limited amount of Segways. The deposit WILL NOT be refunded for any reason within 72 hours of your scheduled tour.

    A signed liability waiver is required prior to your tour departure.

    Important: Check your Confirmation for Correct Date and Time. It is your responsibility to be at the designated tour location on the correct date. Please check your confirmation carefully. No refund for no-shows.

    Security Deposit and Damages:
    A Valid ID with picture and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express)will be required for a security deposit on each Segway. All damages to the Segway is the responsibility of the rider.

    Tickets & Confirmation:
    Immediately after submitting your reservation, your receipt will be displayed. The receipt will contain the tour operator's contact information and your reservation number. A copy of the receipt will also be emailed to you.  Within 24 hours you will receive your confirmation unless you are booking Alcatraz tours. You will receive your Alcatraz tour confirmation 30 to 60 days before the tour.  Print the confirmation . You will need to present the confirmation number on the day of your activity.
